September Issue Teaser

When Egyptologist Howard Carter peered into King Tut’s tomb for the first time, he saw “wonderful things.” Unfortunately, disturbing the tomb led to terrifying things. He awakened an ancient Egyptian curse that is linked to at least seventeen deaths and many odd occurences blamed in popular culture on the Curse of the Mummy.

But the story doesn’t end there. The September issue of Ghosts of the Mid-Atlantic features the connections among King Tut, Howard Carter, his financier the Fifth Lord Carnarvon, the Carnarvon home Highclere Castle, and the popular television series Downton Abbey.

Also in this issue, you’ll discover an update on Storer College (June/July 2012 issue) and our new GotMA logo!
